Purchasing a car is not on your daily "to do" list. Add this pandemic which we are in and that we are in Hawaii, while... our daughter is attending the University there, we worried of all the challenges that were ahead of us both. Donny Bonfligio connected directly with our daughter to find out her wishes, was in contact with us regularly which made this process easier than we had imagined. Thank you Donny for taking care of her and helping her feel at ease while everything was getting finalized. We could not have done it without you !!read more

To put it simply, our buying experience at Village Pointe Toyota could not have been any better! We came all the way... from western Michigan to purchase a Toyota 4 Runner. We cannot say enough good things about our salesman Sam Saintizaire, not only is he a fine salesman, he is an outstanding young man! Extremely kind, courteous and helpful! We felt like he was one of our own family members. And also great kudos to Sam’s co-workers that we interacted with. Jim, Adam, James and Rusty! Thank You ALL very much, for making our long trip to Omaha a phenomenal experience! We highly recommend anyone to purchase from this dealership!T & Z Smithread more

Updated Review:Adam, the General Sales Manager, reached out to me the same day I wrote of my experiences. I am... extremely impressed. Village Pointe is lucky to have him with his customer service, leadership, and manager skillset. He listened and asked questions to fully identify the problems; he shared some adjustments he had already made in addition to discussing actions that would be taken with my particular incident to prevent this type of problem from happening again; and most of all for me personally, he made it right. He did all of this without excuses or the blame game. He is a true professional focused on improving the customer experience at all levels rather than just putting out fires.Thank you!Original Review:I paid cash for a vehicle on 8/29. For the sales person during the actual sale experience I would give a 4; He is enthusiastic but rather raw. For delivery arrangements by the inexperienced sales associate and his lack of communication, a 1. The actual delivery people and their role, a 5 for good communication and pleasant transaction. For the finance dept, initial experience was 1-2 with high pressure techniques. For finance dept follow through, I would give a negative 5 if I could. I have been trying for 13 days to resolve an extended warranty issue. On 9/29, I received a letter stating the vehicle was not going to be covered due to age. My temporary tags were to expire at the end of the day 9/30. I called. The finance associate assured me it would be taken care of. He promised to call back, but did not follow through. I reached him 9/30 by phone. He had no answers but said he would soon. He did follow through with an email later that day as per my request stating he still didn't know anything. I then reached out 10/1 and 10/6 via email for an update but with no response. On 10/10, I received another letter stating the policy is still denied. On 10/13, I called to speak with a manager but have yet to speak with anyone about the issue. They have had my money for a useless policy since 8/29 and it is now 10/13. Meanwhile, I have paid $750 plus local taxes of 8.95%. for a denied policy. All I want is my money back for the policy plus the taxes I paid when I registered my vehicle but I can't even reach a live person to resolve this.read more

For my first time purchasing a car I am so glad I do so from Village Pointe Toyota. From the first time I stepped on... the lot I was greeted promptly and shown cars that fit what I was looking for by an associate named Donny. Ultimately I came back a couple weeks later after looking around at other places and was sold on a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. Out of all the different people I spoke to at different dealerships I had the best experience here. Donny was professional and helpful. He answered all my questions I had as a first time buyer and helped me to get the best deal I could. I’m really happy with this purchase as a result. If you’re in the market for a car, I definitely recommend this place and that you ask for Donny when you go.read more

Not a very good customer experience. I was sold a nice 2018 Ford Explorer with 22,500 miles on it but it had a broken... glove box and and broken antenna. I was told to bring back the car the next day for the broken glove box and they will take care of it. When I called to bring in the car back the next day I was told by the service writer that his boss said I needed to take it to a Ford dealer and let the warranty pay for it. I pushed back and talked with the sales manager and they decided to stand by their original statement of fixing it at their cost. Also, I took the car to a ford dealer to look at the antenna and I was told something hit it pretty hard and I would need to pay around $500 for a new antenna. I emailed my salesman Denny Valez about the antenna and asked if they would consider helping me with the antenna since I was sold a car with a bad one. He never responded. I would think before a car is put on the lot for sale this would of been taken care of since this is supposed to be a high end dealer in West Omaha. Finally I was trying to get them to allow me to take the car to a close ford dealer to get it looked at before I buy it but I was getting the run around how they can’t have the car leave the lot for a day. When I didn’t make a decision to buy the car right away my salesman asked me if I was going to buy it or not. If I wasn’t they were going to put it back up for sale. High pressure sales at its finest.Bottom line it is a great looking car with low miles but they sold me a car with a couple of issues that should of never hit the lot with a broken glove box and and antenna. Salesman never responded to my email to make it right about the broken antenna and I didn’t appreciate the dealers response of the warranty will take care of the antenna. NOT! Warranty only covers manufacturer defects. Unfortunately all they want to do Is sell a car without worrying about the customer experience.I would of given this location 4 stars if they would responded to my email and made some type of offer to take care of the antenna. It’s all about the customer experience to build loyalty not a high pressure sales and a car that should of never hit the lot. So only one star for me.UPDATE October 5, 2020I received a call from the GM Adam Westover today and I can’t be more satisfied how professional Adam was and most importantly how he validated my concerns. Adam point blank apologized for my bad customer experience and took care of my broken antenna by reimbursing me for my out of pocket expense by putting a check in the mail. He also said he was going to send a gift card for my wife and I to go out to dinner as a token of his appreciation for my business. This is true leadership and he knows how to take care of the customer! My one star goes to a 4 star experience.read more

Transaction was done mainly via internet and it was a nice experience. I highly recommend Village Pointe Toyota... especially Cody Dineen in sales who was very professional, accommodating and he knows well what he is selling. Cody was not judgmental and will try the best that he can to accommodate requests even if it seems unrealistic to his manager Adam. I will definitely do business with them again in the future and recommend them to others. A well deserved five star for their service.read more

I have had a fantastic experience working with Ty, Salesman, Julia, Internet Director, and Brian, Finance Manager. I... came all the way from Denver, CO, to purchase a brand new Toyota Tundra. This Dealership definitely offers the most competitive pricing nationwide. Ty came and picked me up from the airport and closed the deal on his day off! Huge thanks to Ty for taking care of this! Brian did a great job explaining the mechanical protection plan and was able to get me a good financing option. Big thanks to Village Pointe Toyota staff for taking care of me.read more

Edit: Was contacted by the general manager and Mackenzie. They are stand up individuals who back up their products and... their people. They apologized for the rough experience and explained that this is not how they intend business to be conducted. Would have no reservations about purchasing from Village Pointe in the future. Thank you both!Very poor experience buying a car. Sales person refused to let us speak with a manager, misinformed us and actively pressured us to purchase a car, even though the person who would be buying the car had surgery that same day and hadn't driven the car. Sales person also did not give us the option to "try out" the car for 24 hours, but the next day, he claimed that he had.We made an appointment to come back to the dealership the next day. We arrived on time. During our time there, our sales person helped at least three other customers, while we waited. When I expressed my frustration, he actively talked over me and struggled to listen to what I had to say.Absolutely would not go back, and will be contacting upper management.read more

We have had a horrible experience with this dealership. We bought a certified pre-owned 2016 toyota highlander with... 30,000 miles on it 1 year ago. Since then, the battery has been replaced by the dealership three times. It is driven on a daily basis, at least 10 miles a day, and it has been regularly not starting because the battery keeps dying. We brought it into the dealership multiple times, leaving it there for days at a time for them to find a cause for this, and each time they found nothing wrong with it. They proceeded to tell us that this is just a normal thing that will keep happening with our car because supposedly we are not driving it a far enough distance on a daily basis to give the battery enough time to charge. They said that the only resolution is for us to purchase a trickle charger for it and plug our vehicle in daily. THIS IS NOT A NORMAL THING THAT SHOULD BE HAPPENING. ESPECIALLY with a certified vehicle with such low miles and it being a newer vehicle that is driven on a daily basis! We are beyond frustrated at this point and will never ever buy a vehicle from them again. Beware before trusting their “certified” vehicles.read more

Set up an appointment for the NEXT morning to look at a car. I got there and the salesman I originally had talked to... and set the meeting up with was "too busy." We had to wait for another salesman to come talk to us. When he came to talk to us, he said they sold the car I set up the appointment to look at. No phone call or email telling me this. I don't live anywhere even close to this dealership and I wasted my time and gas driving just to have even more of my time wasted. I understand you want to make money but a call would have been nice.Update: They contacted me and tried to make things right. I appreciate the effort to try to rectify thing.read more

Nice facility and pleasant staff, but will not go there for maintenance work ever again. Every time we go there, it... seems that there was "something forgotten from the maintenance list". Sent out bids for spark plug replacement for a 2012 Sienna to a half dozen companies in Omaha, and they came in the highest at over $700 (before I called them and they offered a coupon to bring it down to $650, which still is the highest). Spark plug service recommended to my wife for 90k mile service, but this isn't due until 120k mark. No reason to think they need replacing as engine running fine. Looking somewhere else for maintenance.read more

Gave me a really good deal on a brand new car, but have a horrible service crew. Got a nail in my tire and asked... them to repair it. As a former service manager, I am quite familiar with standards and restrictions of tire repair. The service advisor tried to sell me a new tire stating that it was too close to the outer wall, to which I showed him a photo I had on my phone showing otherwise. He refused to repair the tire again attempting the tire sale, and I respectfully declined. Took it to a local tire shop, and they laughed at what occurred and gladly repaired the tire. Usually hate being the bad guy with service departments, but had to quit the business because I could not bring myself to scam people of their hard earned money for a paycheck, and you won’t earn much of one without it. This dealer offers complimentary washes to which I asked for while we were there. It was covered with bugs, so why not take advantage of it, right? A worker took the car, ran it through and brought it back still all wet. Bugs still covered the front, so I asked for a towel and dried it off in front of them while they drove around me. I washed it again at home to compete what they could not. I would have never let this happen to any of my former customers, so keep it in mind when dealing with them.read more

I had an excellent experience here. Chris was very helpful from the beginning, and went beyond the "expected". He even... sent me a video of the vehicle that I wanted to "look at". From the very first interaction he was open, honest, straight forward, and went out of his way to get me the deal that I requested. I recommend buying either a new car or a used one from this dealer if you are looking. Thank you Chris for your excellent customer service, you "blew my mind" in a good way!read more

We went to “look” at a new car without wanting to buy, but we ended up buying because of the sweet deal they gave... us! Very professional, great personalities and all around great service! Chris Risling made the experience fun and was very personable! I would gladly return back for either service on our new vehicle or if we ever want to buy again we will gladly go back. Terry the GM was very friendly and helpful as well and made sure our trade in was top dollar and got the vehicle to the price point we wanted it! Thank you all for the help and all the wonderful staff who were so friendly and kind to us! We spent a good portion of our time there laughing or smiling with all the staff!read more
