This place is wonderful. The steak torta was massive. The Pupusas are so delicious! And on certain days, they're only... 1$! The young girl who is usually running the front counter is so incredibly polite. Food always comes out fast and hot!read more

This place had the best burritos me and my friends was in the area and they wanted to go to a burrito truck instead I... took them here only 50 cents more with more ingredients.they thanked me later.read more

Tonight was our first visit to Salmex. We went their exclusively to try their pupusas. We have had pupusas from many... restaurants in Omaha and Salmex are our new favorite. We tried the cheese, the cheese and pork, and the cheese, pork, and bean. All three were freshly prepared and delicious. The cabbage salad (curtido) and salsas were tasty too. Our only complaint is their drink choices. They have canned or bottled Coke products which was difficult for our younger kids to utilize. If they offered fountain drinks, with lids for kids, we would give this place 5 stars. We are anxious to return and try other items from the menu.read more

My husband and I decided to try them out last weekend and we fell in love with this place best pupusas I have ever had... the food was fresh and it had that homemade taste .the place was very cleane and the waitress was very sweet.. I love the fact that it's very close to downtown we can walk there! I wanted to add that I have been coming here almost every weekend and every time they charge me more then what I'm supposed to pay at first I was like ok anyone can make a mistake but nope it's every time so just make sure you do the math before you pay because they can be sneaky and just because of this I'm gonna give it a four star other than that the food is still delicious 😋read more
