Friends brought us here for dinner while we were visiting...and I LOVED EVERYTHING about my experience. The restaurant... ambiance was chill, the servers were cool (and super helpful in suggesting items), and the food was beyond delicious. As someone who eats a plant based diet and supports sustainability efforts, the menu was a dream! My mouth is watering just thinking about my dinner at J. Coco.read more

Drunken Mussels, cheese board, halibut and sea bass were on the menu for us at J. Coco tonight. Our appetizers were... incredible. My hubs loved the sea bass which he typically wouldn’t order (especially since there wasn’t scallops on the menu so he branched out). Cheese board was so good, and the halibut was perfect. The service was super friendly and down to earth. Made us feel like regulars when it was our first time in. A slight wait between the appetizers and the main course, but sometimes it’s ok to take a slower time to enjoy it all. Called ahead for a reservation but not overly crowded and all staff were masked. All in all a wonderful evening for a date night without kiddos.read more

We had dinner here when we visited Omaha. It was a short walk to our hotel and had lovely outdoor seating. We were told... that many people don't always sit outside and the hostess was happy we were taking advantage of the patio area. I would definitely recommend the outdoor seating on a nice evening. The food was delicious.read more

J. Coco is a well-known Omaha restaurant with a surprising selection ranging from comfort foods (with a Waygu twist) to... Lobster Bolognese and short ribs. I remember having the mussels as appetizer and cedar plank salmon as entrée. Both were delicious!read more

Tasty food and pleasant atmosphere. Had Cobb salad for lunch and it was a nice sized portion. Very good with grilled... chicken, crumbled bacon and a generous amount of blue cheese. Reasonable price for their salad (under $15). Wine was a bit expensive!read more

Intimate locals favorite restaurant with a nice variety of dishes. Olive and hummus appetizer was great. Fried olives... seemed like something we should try and they were delicious. The calamari wasn’t as successful (slightly undercooked) and bland. The beef tenderloin dinner was terrific. Lovely beef cut on a bed of lobster risotto and a side of broccolini. The small house salad was a good starter and the champagne vinaigrette wasn’t over sweet. My companions enjoyed their meals as well. The strip steak comes with onion ring toppings. The noise level was tremendous and shouting was required. Service was very good. Large wine selection though non alcoholic drink choices are limited to the usual sodas and San Pelligrino water.read more
