The liquor store is inside the restaurant. Staff is a bunch of teenagers who have masks dangling off their faces.

Food was overpriced. Steak was overcooked for those that wanted med rare. People who wanted med well got rare.... Different cuts of steak otherwise we would of swapped. Mixed drinks were horrible. Some people didn't get their sides. Timing was horrible, salads came out at same time as entree. Beer was good. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!!!read more

Great place for food AND beer! Top of the line equipment, great selection of craft and domestic beer. Friendly staff... and awesome food + outdoor seating. They have a really cool lounge area with self pouring wine and whiskey taps. The location doesn't suggest how cool this place is but I would 100% recommend.read more

Wonderful brand new patio, dog friendly too. Janet greeted me at the door and was pleased to serve my family on the... patio though noone was dining outside. Prime rib melt was super good. The green chicken cream soup was delicious. We are traveling through but would stop here anytime I can. Lovely experience.read more

Best food within 50 miles! Service is great too, and the location is clean, modern and comfortable. I come up from... Hastings every weekend for lunch and to buy beer at the attached liquor store. Don't let the last statement fool you though, this is a classy place.read more

We got there this morning excited to try the brunch menu. We got seated at 11:11 and ordered promptly. We finally left... at 12:11 after realizing they still hadn’t cooked our food and we had somewhere to be at 12:30 and needed time to run by a drive-thru so we could still manage to get something to eat. We had asked our waitress how much longer it would be at 12:07 and she said 3-4 minutes, needless to say we finally gave up.read more

So today 8/29/20....we stopped into Kinkaider. Upon walking in we were met by a group who said "good luck, we are... leaving because we have been waiting for 25mins and a server has not even been to our table." We thought we would try our luck as we drove over an hour to go this establishment. (12:30pm) We finally hit the 20min mark with no server and decided to ask for someone to take our drink order. (12:50pm) after waiting for some time our server finally came back with our drinks and took our food order. We waited over an hour, and finally told someone to check on our food....they hadn't even started making it. (2:05pm) Our food finally starts coming out, they had forgotten 3 of our meals. So 6 if us started eating as to not let the food go cold and the other 3 sat and watched us. The others finally get their food except 1....they forgot it again! After his burger came out, they told him it would be on the house for the mess up. We received our checks and discover that not only did they not comp his burger, but our table had a service charge for almost $40 total for the table. When we asked about this the waitress, very snooty, said "(sigh)....its a tip for a group of 8, it says it right in the menu, but you can leave more if you want..." right..... she then got very snooty with my friend who questioned why his burger was not comped like she said it would be. She told him that the receipt was wrong and that it was correct and to "trust her." He checked his bank account....they charged us the full amount. At 2:57pm, we finally exited right after eating our food. I'll say I've been to this place a few times over the years, when it opened it was a great nee establishment that was fun and fast, steady decline since. Must really be hard to find good help.read more

This is the first time I've been to this establishment but I had a very good impression of it. The menu price range... from reasonable ($) to somewhat expensive ($$$). I end up having a featured bone in rib eye steak at the market price of $36. While the steak was good, I don't believe it was worth spending the $36 on. Two of the best features of the restaurant was an automated wine bar and a really nice salad bar. The automated wine bar has a large selection of chilled wines. You can run a tab and receive a swipe card. You swipe the card and select the wine you want and the wine bar does the rest of the work, selecting your wine, pouring it, and making ready for your consumption. The salad bar had a large number of selections to add to your salad along with things like marinated artichoke hearts, various fruits, peppers, nuts, seeds, vegetables, and a choice of two different soup du jour. The staff was friendly and better than that you could tell that the restaurant had taken the time to train their staff on how to approach a table and the costumers at it. They were quick to refill drinks, visited the table enough to give the customer a chance to make any comments or requests and did not leave the customer waiting to long for anything. I was really happy with the staff. The only thing that was a bit tacky about the place is that the entrance to the restaurant forces you to go through a liquor store to get to it. It's a stark contrast compared to the actual restaurant once you are in it. Overall, Tommy Gunz is definitely a restaurant worth giving a go and I will be returning to see if what I saw on my first visit is consistent.read more

The interior decoration of this place is the first thing to grab your attention as you enter. The prohibition era decor... is very well done and put you in the mood to drink a whisky. Their burgers and sides were extremely tasty, and don’t even get me started on the service. The waitress and owner who we spoke to were both very kind and welcoming. Definitely come through Tommy Gunz when you’re in town.read more
