This restaurant was disappointing on so many levels, but the most egregious action, or inaction, was the wait staff’s... blatant attempt to shun mask wearing. I watched in dismay as two waitresses were serving elderly customers( who were wearing masks) with their masks under their chins. At that point just don’t bother wearing the masks. When she came over to take our orders, I tried to politely encourage her by putting on my mask as a mutual sign of respect. She either ignored my gesture or didn’t notice. I was so upset by the lack of regard for health and safety that I had to walk out while my husband insisted on staying, since he had already ordered the drinks.Not only did it take 5-10 minutes for us to even get our drinks ordered, my husband waited for about an hour to receive his food and our sons.’ The steak was so rare that it was inedible. Overall, just a very upsetting experience. My husband said the waitress did comp the drinks, but never did cover her mouth and nose with her mask. I understand there is a lot of mixed messaging going on surrounding the virus, but what is not in question is that employees are required to wear masks in a restaurant setting at all times. This is an obvious fault of the restaurant’s managers for not enforcing best practices.read more

It was great food and great service. Our server was Jake and was wonderful. We had a full rack of ribs and brisket... sandwich. The place smelled awesome and was fun. Would definitely recommend. We are stopping on the way home from vac in about 5 days.read more

The food is really good and plentiful. The atmosphere is casual and patrons are encouraged to eat the peanuts (in a... small bucket on each table) and toss the shells on the floor. :) The service could have been better, my husband didn't get his salad and I didn't get my ketchup. But nice place to eat.read more

Recently stayed at Baymont Hotel and was given a 10% off coupon for Whiskey Creek. Prices are average BUT the food is... ABOVE average. The flat iron steak was cooked to perfection and the baked beans, fries and salad were delicious. Our server Kendra W. was excellent, never missing a step. My husband and I were only passing through on our way home to Tennessee. This restaurant is a gem.read more

Absolutely carelessly prepared food. I ordered the branding iron steak. It touted being USDA choice, and lean and... juicy. It was tough and leathery. A portion was difficult to cut and unchewable. It was completely lacking any flavor and had an unsavory odor. The sides were also carelessly prepared. The server was patronizing and absent. How can 'beef country' not have a decent steakhouse?read more

Our waiter "Marshal' Dillion, was courtious, and helpful. ( Like the rest of the staff). The wood fired prime rib was... amazing, as well as the smashed red potatoes and barbequed baked beans. The place is attractive as well as very clean. Obviously a family favorite of many people, very kid friendly.read more

Steak quality from one plate to another went from great to "send it back". Management and wait staff were on the job to... assure our satisfaction. $2 happy hour drinks were worth it. Salad was especially good. We had two ribeyes, prime rib, and a skirt steak. We would say the steak is hit or miss but we thank management for trying.read more

The ribs were the best! They we're tender, juicy and falling off the bone! The flavor was mild and savory...sauce was... not tangy. We split a full rack and it was plenty. The broccoli was tender. I was not a big fan of the fries..not that they we're bad..just don't care for that kind. Service was great at refilling our drinks! Highly recommend this place...worth the stop for the price.read more
