My family and I stayed this weekend at lakefront express and by far this is our new FAVORITE camping spot!!! Located... just across the street from lake Mac and the owners are EXTREMELY KIND and there sites are AMAZING!!! They made sure we were all comfortable and settled throughout the week!! All their sites have electrical and water and extremely clean!!! We are already have our next trip booked and are bringing along 3 other families with up!!! Our kids enjoyed the egg hunt we did and look forward to many more!!! If you are looking for a safe, clean, comfortable place where you are not just treated like another customer but like family you must stay here!!! Thank you lakefront express!!!read more

Always gotta stop by when we are in the area. Good food (Pho, Thai milk teas, smoothies, ice cream, etc.) along with... snacks. The breakfast burritos are another reason to stop by in the morning. They also have several odds and ends for your camping needs as far as convenient store items go. *Bonus Round* they have tiny house and camper rentals. Patio area is a nice place to relax with tables, hammocks, tire swings, and a tether ball pole.read more

Variety of ice cream flavors, smoothies and teas. Clean restrooms and tasty food. I had the beef broccoli although I... found it to have way to much sauce everyone in our party enjoyed their lunch. They also have some fishing gear, drinks (no booze), ice , fire wood and some grocery items.read more

We love going to Lakefront Express! It has become our new go to place. The family that owns it are very friendly and... they make the best homemade ice cream, pho, and the crab cheese wontons are great. It’s also straight across the street from Lake Mac. The service keeps us coming back. Try it out you will be glad you did !read more

Love this place! The owners actually appreciate your business and treat you kindly. Great food at the restaurant (love... the pho and the lo mein), great ice cream, great prices on ice, really a great place to do business with! Go here instead of stetson's for most of your needs. I called twice and emailed. I did get the robot response Due to rise in covid numbers i felt it was responsible to... cancel our trip. Although less than a month out I am not looking for a full refund but a partial would be the decent thing. Keeping all $100 seems rude for no services provided. And since you will not return calls or communicate any other way this is my only way let you know how I feel.read more

Awesome place; definitely come here if you’re planning a trip to Lake Mcconaughy! Right next to the lake and probably... the friendliest service ever - the owner came by to check in on us several times and make sure we were settled in. The breakfast burritos and Pho were excellent and well priced (I can’t speak for the other dishes but I bet they’re good too) and the ice cream is... well, there’s Creme Brulee ice cream. Of course it’s amazing.read more

We rented a fifth wheel for a few nights and we loved it! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The... camper even had ketchup and mustard, spices, and torch lighters, so we brought those things but didn’t need to! If you forget something, they probably have it in their store. The owners were super nice and helpful, checking on us a few times to make sure we were happy and had what we needed. We will definitely be back, my husband wanted to try the pho but didn’t get the chance! Thank you Lakefront Express!read more

Incredible family owned convenient store/resteraunt! Has a colorful variety of dairy free ice cream, as well as tasty... smoothies. You can sit down and enjoy freshly made Thai food, or grab some snacks to go! Highly recommend!!! Amazing staff!!!read more

Stopped here 3 times in less than 18 hours. Absolutely amazing food and great service! The owners/staff are so... genuinely kind. I highly recommend a breakfast burrito and Thai iced tea at 8am :).read more
