Doesn't look like much from the outside but it is the inside that counts! Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast... served all day. Pretty typical bar and grill menu with the addition of prime rib as well. We all had breakfast which was outstanding. Don't forget to ask for their homemade hot sauce if you like it spicey. My 84 year old father said his pancakes were the best he's ever had. We ordered 5 more for take out! We will definitely be sure to stop again next time we are in the area.read more

A casual and clean sports bar atmosphere with a warm welcome, friendly staff, attentive service, and reasonable prices... await visiting travelers here. The onion rings are made fresh on site and are outstanding. The fried mushrooms and fried cheese curds are frozen -- avoid them. The specials are good when fresh on Saturday or Sunday. Otherwise, order from the menu. We recommend visiting the Veranda if it's open.read more

Waitress had the personality of a rock. Never offered a menu so we had a drink and were done. Think she needs a class... on hospitality. As a truck driver, we like supporting small local businesses. We are appreciative of parking places and it does not bother us to be asked to move. We are not angry about that whatsoever. We did park at the same space that we had previously parked which at that time the owner had said was fine to park there at our first visit. Thank you letting us park in your lot. Not the issue at all.read more

Stopped at the Sand Cafe twice on cross-country country motorcycle trips. The food was great, and the proprietress... went out of her way to serve a great breakfast, including stepping outside to her garden to pick a tomato when one of our party asked for a BLT. The owner also asked if she could take our picture to post with her collection of visitor photos. Those photos were still there years later when we stopped the second time.read more
